A harbour for passer-by
The harbour of De Kuilart is the ideal spot for all watersport fans. Our harbour is located in the heart of the watersport area of Friesland, on the sailing route from Stavoren to Heeg and also on the side of the largest lake of Friesland, de Fluessen en het Heegermeer. Are you sailing to the other direction then you will reach Stavoren after about eight kilometres from which you can discover the IJsselmeer.
A child-friendly harbour
Marina De Kuilart is part of Holiday Park De Kuilart which gives you the opportunity, as a guest of the harbour, to make use of the facilities of the holiday park. The park is famous for its variety of facilities and activities organized for the children and youth. Especially the indoor swimming pool and the play garden with a pirate ship, directly located at the water, are a popular attraction.
Until 17.00 o'clock harbour charges do not have to be paid. From 17.00 o'clock until 9.00 o'clock you have to pay an overnight stay (inclusive V.A.T. and tourist tax). As a passer-by you can pay your harbour charges at our harbour charges vending machine at the swimming pool or of course directly to our harbour master. If our harbour master is not available you can also pay at the reception. You can also get your ticket for the swimming pool, € 5,00 per person per day (on presentation of your receipt of the payment of your harbour charges).
The showering system functions with SEP-cards. With these cards you can also pay and use the electricity and water on our (new) piers.
Are you sailing with a dog on board? You are welcome in our harbour. One dog per boat is allowed. For more information about our rules for dogs check our dog policy.
